Rollan was born in Eureka on September 17, 1954 to John and Betty Moschetti. His soul left this Earth to go to Heaven on January 27, 2021.

He was raised with four siblings in Redway and Eureka. He attended Saint Bernard’s and Eureka High until he joined the Army at 17 years old. He was stationed in Germany during the Vietnam War and shared fond memories of driving his fellow Army men on buses. After his time in the service, he began working as a carpenter for the Carpenter’s Union. He met his wife Therese in 1980. They were married for 17 years, having three children together. He was a supportive, loving father who would always be there when we needed him.

Rollan started his own business, M & M Construction, on June 11, 1993. As a man who could build and fix anything, he was very successful. Rollan had a strong love of life, always living it to the fullest with a big smile on his face. He loved to travel, hunt, fish, garden, go to church and spend time with his family and friends. He was a devoted Christian, father and friend.

He bought his home in Stafford in 1990. It quickly became a place of comfort and joy. When he bought the home it was a fixer-upper and although it was a slow start, he steadily made improvements until it became everything he dreamed it to be. He loved having his family and friends down for holidays and get-togethers. All who came to his home were welcome. He planted a large garden each year and often gave much of the bounty away.

He is preceded in death by his father John Moschetti, mother and stepfather Betty and Con Daly, ex-wife Therese Moschetti, brothers Rod and Roger Moschetti, brother-in-law Chuck Hatherill, and grand- daughter Camellia Rachellle.

He is survived by his sister Vicki Hatherill, brother Randy (Shawn) Moschetti, step- sister Brenda (Jerry) Zwiefelhofer, children Cara, Cayla, and Aaron Moschetti, two grandchildren Irena and Carver, along with many nieces, nephews, and friends.

The light and joy Rollan has brought to this world will never be forgotten. He was a very friendly person who could carry on a conversation with anyone. He will be dearly missed by all who have had the pleasure of knowing him. We will always carry him in our hearts. His legacy will continue through his three children and his grandchildren as he is now at peace with his Heavenly Father.

For all who would like to celebrate Rollan’s life, we will be holding a memorial for family and friends at Eureka Veteran’s Hall, 1018 H Street starting at 2 p.m. on Friday, February 12, 2021. COVID-19 restrictions will be in place. Facial coverings and social distancing are required for anyone attending per state and county guidelines.
