Chad Lourenzo, 32, of Fortuna, passed away on January 30, 2021. Chad was a very generous person who would give you the shirt off his back and offer to help without being asked. He loved his fast cars and riding motorcycles, and love doing do-nut and burnouts. He loved anything with wheels. He had a natural talent for driving cars and riding motorcycles, he was awesome.

He love life and lived it to the fullest. After battling cancer and kicking its butt, he helped Kristen Smith, the love of his life, battle her cancer too, and he helped her battle her second cancer but she did not make it through. He was crushed with her passing, but he got right back up and battled his own for a second time alone because he did not want anyone to see him that way. Chad finally knew what he wanted out of life, but he was involved in the tragic accident that took his life. We will miss Chad very much and we hope he is at peace now.

His viewing was Tuesday, February 16, 2021. There will be a funeral and memorial service at Sunrise Cemetery in Fortuna on Saturday, February 20 2021 at 11 a.m.
