Temar Andre Thompson

On Nov. 6, 2021, at about 1:42 a.m., Humboldt County Sheriff’s deputies were dispatched to a residence on the 2100 block of Old Arcata Road in Bayside for the report of a stabbing victim.

Deputies arrived on scene and located a 43-year-old male victim with a major head injury. The victim was transported to a local hospital for treatment, where he remains in critical but stable condition at this time.

At the residence, deputies contacted multiple individuals, including 28-year-old Temar Andre Thompson. Through further investigation, Thompson was determined to be the suspect responsible for the stabbing and he was taken into custody without incident.

Thompson was booked into the Humboldt County Correctional Facility on charges of attempted murder (PC 664/187(a)).

This case is still under investigation.
