Local videographer Ray Olson is back with another edition of his inspirational travel series “Humboldt Outdoors.”

In today’s episode, Olson takes a look the historic ghost town of Falk — an old logging town located in the Headwaters Forest Reserve.

Olson also chats with Bureau of Land Management Park Ranger Julie Clark about the site’s history.

While much of the ghost town was demolished in the 1970s, some building foundations, metal machinery and giant tree stumps still remain.

Check out Olson’s video for tips on visiting this historic site.
