How would you feel about a little bit of sky moisture this weekend, Humboldt? Ready or not, the fine folks at our local arm of the National Weather Service tell us to expect a bit of rain on Saturday, more so the farther north you are.

“Rain is expected starting Saturday morning and spreading south across the area through the day,” NWS says. “A few lingering showers are possible on Sunday. This rain is not expected to cause flooding due to the very dry conditions in place.”

Drivers will want to be extra cautious as roadways tend to be more dangerous when they experience rain following long dry periods.
