Do you know the squirter? | EPD

Eureka Police Department press release:

The subject depicted in the attached photos is considered a suspect in five separate battery/suspicious activity investigations by the Eureka Police Department. The five incidents have occurred sporadically since November 2021, with the most recent occurring on September 13, 2022.

Most of the incidents have occurred inside of major retail establishments while the most recent occurred outside on a residential sidewalk. In each incident the male follows a female victim for a period of time before approaching close enough to squirt the female with an unknown liquid substance. The male then quickly walks away.

The Eureka Police Department has been gathering information, surveillance, and has sent the substances off for DOJ testing. The motive behind the male’s action is still unclear. Detectives and Evidence Technicians believe it is possible there are unreported victims. If you have been a victim of a similar incident or have information/identity of the suspect, please contact Senior Detective Corrie Watson at cwatson@ci.eureka.ca.gov or (707) 441-4032.
