As soon as we ask you when summer ends, Mother Nature comes in and makes her own case!
This morning Eureka residents with windows noticed a drizzly substance falling out of the sky. Rain!
This rain is but a precursor to the rain that is coming tomorrow and Thursday. The first storm of the — fall? — is forecast to drop up to an inch of the wet stuff on our heads throughout that period. The further north you are the more rain you’ll probably get.
Be careful on the roads the next few days. If there’s one thing that the Outpost has learned over the years, it’s that the first post-summer rains make the roads especially slippy and slidy, as accumulated grease and whatnot is activated by precipitation. We fully expect the CHPBot to be active tomorrow.
Godspeed! Enjoy the weather, if that’s what you do!
