In a meeting of the Planning Commission,
They gathered with a noble intention.
To elect a Chair and Vice-Chair,
For the upcoming year, with such care.

Director David Loya, he did prepare,
The recommendation for all to share.
To receive public comment, then take a vote,
For the positions that they did promote.

The Commissioners sat in their seats,
Ready to make the decision neat.
To choose leaders to guide the way,
For the Planning Commission, come what may.

With a formal vote, they did elect,
A Chair and Vice-Chair to direct.
For the period of July to June,
Their leadership will be in tune.

So here’s to the Chair and Vice-Chair,
Leading with wisdom, fairness, and care.
May they guide the Commission right,
Through every meeting, day and night.
