1. Pierson Company Creative Sign Permit Location: 3116 Harrison Avenue; APN: 013-191-027 Projects: Creative Sign Permit (SGNC-24-1)

The Pierson Company is trying to get approval for two monument signs when only one is allowed according to the sign standards. The Design Review Committee is recommending denying the request for a second monument sign because it does not meet the approval criteria for a Creative Sign Permit. The Applicant can make modifications to the proposed signs to meet the criteria and reapply. The decision will be made after a public hearing.

… or, as a Pokemon duel!

Pokemon Duel: Signage Showdown

In the blue corner, we have the creative and innovative Harrison Avenue Monument Sign, determined to showcase its unique design and artistic qualities. With its downlit recessed LED lights and complementary colors and fonts, this sign is ready to make a statement in the neighborhood commercial zone.

And in the red corner, we have the Harris Street Reader Board Monument Sign, looking to stand out with its changeable letters and larger landscaping. While it may not meet all the criteria for a Creative Sign Permit, this sign is still ready to show off its charm and appeal.

The battle begins as the two signs square off, each showcasing their individual strengths and characteristics. The Harrison Avenue Monument Sign shines brightly with its elegant design, while the Harris Street Reader Board Monument Sign displays its versatility and functionality.

As the duel progresses, it becomes clear that the Harrison Avenue Monument Sign is dominating the competition with its attention to detail and creative flair. The Harris Street Reader Board Monument Sign puts up a valiant effort, but ultimately falls short in meeting all the criteria for a Creative Sign Permit.

In the end, the Design Review Committee must make a decision on which sign will be granted the permit or if both will be denied. Will the Harrison Avenue Monument Sign’s creativity and design be enough to secure the victory, or will the Harris Street Reader Board Monument Sign surprise everyone with its unique features?

The duel comes to a close as the Design Review Committee deliberates on the fate of these two signage contenders. Will they approve the permit for one or both signs, or will they deny them altogether? Only time will tell in this epic battle of creativity and innovation in the world of signage design.
