1. Applebee's Master Sign Permit
The Applebee’s restaurant at 2846 Broadway is requesting permission to install 18 signs (8 wall, 9 awning, 1 pole) which is more than the standard limit. The project includes updating existing signs and adding new ones to comply with new corporate standards. The proposal includes details about the location, zoning, and environmental impact of the signs. The city staff recommends holding a public hearing and conditionally approving the project. The proposed signage is designed to be visible, safe, proportionate to the building, and compatible with the building’s design. The project is exempt from environmental assessments under CEQA guidelines. Public hearings and approvals are part of the process for this project.
