Humboldt Bay Fire and the California Highway Patrol are currently responding to a fire in the center divider of Highway 101 at the Herrick Avenue offramp.
Just before 4:30 p.m., firefighters on scene told dispatchers that the fire was about 30 feet by 20 feet in size, and they thought they could handle it with one engine. There is some traffic control in place at the intersection, so expect delays.
