Pickup Overturns on Highway 299

Readers, scanner traffic and CHP Watch alert us to a nasty accident on Highway 299 near Lord Ellis Summit. For reasons unknown, a red truck overturned several times there. Outpost correspondent Matthew Owen just drove by and says the “pickup truck’s cabin was flattened almost to the steering wheel.” Scanner traffic notes that all parties have been extricated from the vehicle.

Scanner Traffic Indicates team member Tristan Mitchell caught chatter to the effect that an off-duty paramedic extricated an occupant from the vehicle.

Emergency personnel are on the scene. No word yet on injuries. Updates below. —AG
