Traffic is backing up into Eureka from the south at the moment, as firefighters work to contain a series of roadside fires that broke out a few minutes ago.
Firefighters arriving at the scene right now are reporting that there are three separate fires burning along the side of the road, beside the northbound lanes. They’re shutting down one lane of traffic to battle this.
