Head On Collision on Highway 101 in Northern Mendo

Original Post: LoCO’s CHP Watch notes that emergency personnel are at the scene of a reported head-on collision that occurred on Highway 101 north of Laytonville. Dispatchers say that one or both vehicles are blocking the northbound lane. A tow truck has been called to the scene.
The Mendocino Voice reports that an air ambulance has been requested. Updates below.
