Jackknifed Big Rig Affecting Traffic on Highway 101 North of Laytonville

A jackknifed big rig is blocking the northbound lane of Highway 101 north of Laytonville after hitting an embankment around 5:47 a.m.
According to the CHP incident report, there are no injuries and the semi’s payload was empty at the time of the crash.
A photo of the scene sent in by a reader shows that the semi is also partially in the southbound lane.
Caltrans is on scene assisting the CHP with clearing the roadway.
