Jackknifed Truck and Trailer Blocking Lane of Highway 101 North of Rio Dell
The California Highway Patrol has responded to a reported hit-and-run collision near Chapman’s Gem and Mineral Shop on Highway 101. CHP dispatchers report that a smaller car struck a now jackknifed truck and trailer before continuing northbound.
The trailer is currently blocking the #1 lane of the highway. All parties involved have exited their vehicles and there are no reported injuries.
