Two People Killed in Two-Vehicle Collision on Highway 299

While emergency personnel were responding to a vehicle down an embankment a few miles west, a second collision occurred on Highway 299. Scanner traffic indicates that first responders on scene discovered a “double 1144,” code signaling that there are two fatalities. A third party is said to have sustained moderate injuries.
