Motorcyclist Suffers Major Injuries on Highway 299 Near Valley West
A motorcyclist was hospitalized with major injuries following a single-vehicle crash on Highway 299 near Valley West today.
According to the California Highway Patrol incident report, a touring motorcycle crashed into an embankment on the westbound side of Highway 299 near the Highway 101 interchange at approximately 12:22 p.m.
The driver was taken by ambulance to St. Joseph Hospital in Eureka. No cause has been determined for the crash at this time.
