Major-Injury Crash This Morning on Highway 101 Near Moonstone Beach
At least one person suffered major injuries in a two-car crash that occurred at approximately 9:19 a.m. today on the northbound side of Highway 101 near the Westhaven Drive offramp.
According to the CHP Incident report, one passenger was unresponsive following the crash. An involved driver was also reportedly injured, sustaining back pain and arm lacerations. An ambulance was dispatched to the scene.
According to the report, one vehicle suffered major front-end damage and the other vehicle suffered major rear-end damage.
Traffic control was temporarily set up in the area and the highway has since been cleared.
