Kneeland Road Slid Out Last Night, and it Remains Closed as of Monday Morning

Not a great day to try to get to Kneeland, unless you like going the Bridgeville way! (UPDATE: Actually you can get around via Greenwood Heights. Thanks, commenters!) The CHP logs note that the road was closed last night a little bit east of Freshwater Park due to trees across the roadway. It remains closed Monday morning.

The county says that there was a slide on the road, and they’re working to contain it:

Humboldt County Public Works Roads Division is reporting:

Kneeland Road, 2 miles above Freshwater Park is closed due to a slide.

Crews are currently working on the slide area.

Thank you for your patience.
