KIMBERLEY WHITE, COMMUNITY VOLUNTEER AND ADVOCATE FOR THE UNHOUSED, IS WORKING IN COLLAORATION WITH ARCATA HOUSE PARTNERSHIP'S WINTER CLOTHING DRIVE

From Kimberley White/Oct. 23, 2020, 1 a.m.

Arcata city council candidate Kimberley White, community volunteer and advocate for the unhoused, is working in collaboration with Rob Peach the community outreach director at Arcata House Partnership, at this years Winter Clothing Drive. The Winter Clothing Drive will be providing necessary winter supplies for the community. With pandemic hardships and loss of jobs, the need is even greater with more people needing help this year.  Please help families stay dry and warm this winter with your donation of new or gently used winter supplies and clothing. Items in need are men’s and women’s clothing, winter coats, winter shoes and boots, socks, gloves, scarves, hats, long underwear, heavy blankets and sleeping bags. Volunteers will launder your donations whether new or gently used at Emerald City Laundry on Saturday, November 7th from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.  Please contact Kimberley White at (707) 822-8033 or Arcata House Partnership if you have donations to pick up and spread the word. You can also support through monetary donations.  If you would like to volunteer, email: volunteer@arctahouse.org
