Correction: it’s one VLAT at Sacramento. There were also two potentially available National Guard “Large Air Tankers” - C-130s - at Fresno, and they just now reported that one of them is now enroute up here with and ETA of 3:30 pm.

Fortuna Command Center is attempting to order any available large air tankers for the Orleans area fire. So far the closest are two “VLAT” Very Large Air Tanker (DC-10) is on the ground at Sacramento that they may be able to get ordered depending on needs at other fires in the state.
