Traffic is at a standstill on Highway 255, presumably north of the bridge. The CHP is asking the Eureka Police Department for help locating the four people who were spotted walking from the scene.

The CHP incident at 4:07, below, is a two-car collision on the Samoa Bridge. One lane of the bridge is blocked by a disabled vehicle. Four people associated with one of the involved cars — a van — were seen walking on the bridge toward Eureka. Humboldt Bay Fire and the CHP are all en route.
