Arcata poss structure fire, 1600 block Charles Ave; Arcata FPD and Blue Lake VFD dispatched

Back-up unit now arriving at scene with the deputy from the pursuit.

Veh’s ignition has been punched, requesting someone attempt to contact the registered owner [to see if they know where their veh is]

Suspect has black gloves on, wearing camo pants, black hooded sweatshirt, has a thick beard at this time; can still be heard, headed downhill apparently away from the deputy, probably approx 50 yards away.

Deputy reports numerous firearms in the vehicle including including assault rifles, request ETA of his backup, hears suspect moving in the brush; he’s keeping cover at his patrol car; requesting CHP to respond also if they have anybody available
