As fires continue to rage in the Willow Creek area, there is no shortage of coastal dwellers wondering what they can do assist their inland neighbors.

One example of such do-gooding that made the Outpost smile, if nothing else, comes from Eureka’s Savage Henry Comedy Club. Laughter, they say, is a medicine with some effectiveness. In that spirit, the club is offering free admittance to their upcoming shows to anyone currently evacuated from their home as the result of the fires burning to the east. Laugh and forget for a bit, maybe.

Henderson Center crash: E Street is fully blocked after a two-vehicle collision near the intersection with Grotto, as per scanner traffic. One person has suffered moderate injuries. EPD is en route.
