West IC reports that all units at scene will be committed for “quite some time” and is requesting one engine respond to cover the district. Arcata Fire, Blue Lake Fire, Fieldbrook Fire, Westhaven Fire, Samoa Fire, Humboldt Bay Fire and Arcata Ambulance are all at scene. Kneeland Fire filling the request for the cover engine and is responding to the Mad River Station in Arcata

HCSO is out with a male who was reportedly “involved with the fire on West End” and is starting that it was accidental. An APD unit is responding. The fire is on West End Court which is the spur road off West End Rd. northeast of the Highway 101 under crossing. West IC reports that they are fully defensive at this point with all firefighters on the exterior of the structure

West IC update on conditions: Units still have a PAR. Correction on the previous, they actually transitioned into a defensive mode with continued fire on the second floor. Still no reports of victims located but it sounds like the heavily involved areas of the second floor were unable to be searched before going defensive. The ambulance is still staged at scene

West IC has another PAR complete with all units accounted for. The interior search is ongoing and 80% complete with no victim located so far. Units are still in an offensive mode

West Incident update on conditions, the first 20 minute PAR check is complete with all units accounted for. Interior units report primary search all clear on the first floor, still working on the second. Samoa and HBF are enroute as well. The incident is on North Bay for command, Arcata Tac for tactical

Blue Lake Engine 8514 is at scene laying in for water supply. Multiple units are still enroute and West IC is requesting an additional 2 engines be added to the response. Samoa Fire and Humboldt Bay Fire are being requested to fill the order for the additional engines

Arcata Engine 8215 is on scene with a residential structure 80% involved. Engine 8215 is pulling crossways and will be in the rescue mode. Chief 8200 is at scene assuming “West IC”. Next in engine is being asked to assist with rescue

Arcata Structure Fire w/ Entrapment: Initial reports are a structure on fire in the area of Highway 101 at the 299 interchange with other reports putting this in the 4400 block of West End Rd.; For Arcata Fire all call, Blue Lake Fire, Fieldbrook Fire, Westhaven Fire; APD is now at scene off West End with the rear of a residence on fire. The officer believes he can hear someone inside but cannot reach them yet; All fire resources have confirmed enroute. An ambulance is being requested code 3
