Follow-up regarding today’s much discussed 1:00 PM CHP call about the tree down at Us101 N / Big Lagoon Park Rd, and whether the tree was said to be 25 inches or 25 feet in diameter. The “25’” was in fact a typo, and the dispatcher actually said “…this repeater? … We have CalTrans enroute for 11-25 tree down in the roadway at Big Lagoon and it’s about twenty to twenty-five inches in diameter… You’re northbound at the lagoon right now and UTL so far.” You can hear it for yourself at http://pages.suddenlink.net/scanner/CHP-25inches.mp3 or http://tinyurl.com/INCHES-mp3 about 1:05 into the 30-minute recording
