APD unit w/K-9 enroute, passing MM 11.83, CHP notified…….. now passing MM 15, dark colored veh possibly green, wanted for 4000(a) [unlicensed vehicle], continuing e/bound 60 mph; … passing Acorn Ln… started to turn off 299, but continuing e/bound one tire is sparking, no traffic; 50 mph, moving in/out of opposite lane

Arcata PD in pursuit e/b Hwy 299 at 65 mph, conditions clear and roadway is dry, unknown [to me] what they’re chasing or reason, HCSO enroute to assist; per APD supervisor, if roadway becomes wet to discontinue the pursuit
