3:57 p.m.: The cats at my house are cute and all but sometimes they piss me off so badly. I spent my entire morning trying to capture a little injured birdie that Cheese brought in and had to drive out to drop him/her off at the wildlife center and ended up being like 20 minutes to class 😒 he brings in injured animals all the time and sometimes they're so severe there's nothing I can do to help them 😔 luckily this time, I saved the bird before he had been beaten up too badly. if it was up to me they'd be indoor only but they're already established that way before I moved in and they aren't my cats so nothing I can do. If any of you are going to get cats, I highly encourage you to keep them indoors only. My kitty lived indoors for the majority of her life, and she's extremely happy/healthy. They should only go outside if they are confined to their backyard and they're being watched. When cats don't have to hunt for their food, they end up torturing wildlife and leaving them to suffer to death, because they're not hungry but still have the killer instinct. It's also not safe for cats, they have a drastically lower life expectancy than indoor cats. Anyway sorry for ranting I just had to get that off my chest :p #arcata #humboldtcounty #california
