He was sleeping so soundly we were a little worried, so went to check his leg and he majestically flew around the cabin, landed by the window first and kinda fell over, but then flew and perched up high!! Still a little wobbly but is strong!!! Calling the wildlife centre today, hopefully he was just really stunned and we can release him ourselves!!! Yay!!! 4:18 p.m.: This is a #curlyredwood #log my dad milled in the mid 80s with my uncle Mike in fieldbrook ca it was 12 foot on the butt and over 20 feet long they milled it with a mobile dementia mill and pulled the lumber down on to the lumber racks of my dads truck and drove it out of the hole I got to go see them doing it when I was no older than 5 years old pretty awesome the frame in the last picture of my feed was made out of wood that came out of this log by me 30 years later #bigtimber #humboldtcounty #oldgrowth
