3:48 p.m.: I'm used to living in the forest- surrounded by so many more trees than people. Since we have left the hill, town life has been challenging. We miss the garden and our lifestyle. We miss the plants and the quiet and the purpose we feel when we get to work in the dirt and help things grow. There are so many distractions when you move away from the land into these concrete jungles we humans have caged ourselves in for the sake of comfort- and they can be intoxicating! When things seem so hectic I'm not sure what to do sometimes pressing the proverbial "easy button" can be tempting- but then I remembered I already tried that- in sO many ways, over so many years. Now, I know what I am meant to do. So when I need clarity- I go into nature. I go slow. I take time to allow her magic to reveal the answers I'm seeking- to remind me of my path and my strength and of the truth that all is in balance and connected and as it should be. Stay humble.
