These are not nudibranchs, which are in a separate order. They are related to nudibranchs being in the same subclass Opisthobranchia. Some of the animals in Sacoglossa are kleptopasities, they peirce the cell wall of their alga food source, suck out the innards, and pass the chloroplasts thought their body undigested to their cerata. The sacloglossids then harvest the energy the chloroplasts produce for themselves! Such a crazy animal that I was giddy over, when I saw them yesterday. •
