10:43 a.m.: The Lost Coast in the King Range National Conservation Area, located in Humboldt County in Northern California. If anyone ever wants to get away from civilization and be surrounded by beauty, solitude, and raw nature, I highly recommend this hidden gem. A deserted black sand beach stretches for miles to the north, and while hiking, we only passed the occasional hippy backpacker on their 3 day journey to complete The Lost Coast Trail. It's about 5 hours north of the SF Bay Area - 26 Mar 16 #humboldtcounty #blacksandbeach #thelostcoast
