9:16 a.m.: This bird was frolicking about with another bird friend. I saw it emerge from a cluster of trees and remember being so happy to see the wildlife enjoying a spring afternoon. And then, it flew into our window. It fell to the ground and I yelped out loud. @stanalba came to see what happened and picked the bird up off the ground. The beak was open and the bird barely moving or breathing. "Should I give it CPR?" He asked. "Yes!" I replied. After three breaths, with short pauses in between, the bird closed it beak and perched on his finger. We continued to pet the bird assuming it would allow the shock of slamming into out window pass. After 20 mins, and a string human/bird bond, the bird flew away. Thank you Stan for saving this birds life. You were brave enough to share your powerful force for good!
