A description of the sculpture courtesy its designer:
ENGINEERING: My kinetic sculpture features optional four wheels drive, two water drive systems using propellers. All pilots have 24 gears to independently choose from plus low sand, regular sand and highway gear transmission making for 72 gears to choose from. Our floatation supports up to 4K lbs. our sand tires also contribute to our floatation. The Hoosier Daddy is one of the largest machines(number of pilots) to attempt so many repeated attempts at ACE’g the race in a true Hobartian fashion.
