It’s happening….the 80’s ARE BACK ! Our BIG HAIR, DON’T CARE contest is FLAMMABLE! We’re giving away $1,000 in CASH! Strut your stuff solo or in a group. Lost Coast Communications will be judging based on creativity, originality, effort & attitude!! Individual Prizes: 1st Place: $300 Cash 2nd Place: $150 Cash 3rd Place: $50 Cash Group Prizes (min. of 2 and max. of 6 participants): 1st Place: $300 Cash 2nd Place: $150 Cash 3rd Place: $50 Cash Sign-up today! Space is limited to the first 20 contestants in each category, sign-ups end at 9pm on 10/28. Contest will take place in the Wave at 9:30pm the night of Journey Unlimited The Tribute! Promotion Specific Rules 1. Masks, headgear, heavy facepaint, and other costume accessories that conceal identity are only allowed during the contest. 2. Employees of Lost Coast Communications, the Blue Lake Rancheria, and/or Blue Lake Casino & Hotel are ineligible to participate. 3. You must report to the judges table in the Wave by 9:15PM on Saturday, October 28, 2017. 4. Contest will take place between 9:20PM and 9:45PM in the Wave on Saturday, October 28, 2017. 5. You must be present to win. 6. All management decisions are final. 7. You must have valid government issued ID and fill out a w9 in order to claim a cash prize. 8. You will be judged based on the following criteria: 1. Creativity 2. Originality 3. Effort 4. Attitude 9. Judges will be from Lost Coast Communications KWPT The Point and KSLG radio stations. Substitute judges may be chosen be the management team if necessary.
