The Natural History Museum Cal Poly presents: Biology & Art as Tools for Amphibian and Biodiversity Conservation. This talk highlights the importance of conservation of the fastest disappearing animal on earth. Amphibians. Through science, art and photography. Dr. Pedro Peloso will guide us through a journey of over 20 years documenting biodiversity, leading to his most recent accomplishment: EXTINTOS, an international exhibition featuring Dr. Peloso’s photography and illustrations by young artists, highlighting species that may soon be lost forever. 1242 G St., Arcata, Friday, Oct. 17 from 6:30- 8 p.m. Join us to learn about the incredible biodiversity in the Amazon, of Brazil.
