This summer, while the horse races take a pause for the first time in nearly a century, the Humboldt County Fair is turning up the volume with live music from local legends. In a bold new twist, The Grandstands will come alive on August 23 with an unforgettable concert headlined by Brett McFarland & The Freedom Riders.
The racetrack is being transformed into a full-scale concert venue for one unforgettable night, complete with an immersive stage framed by logging trucks and vintage tractors, celebrating Humboldt’s working-class roots in a way only our community can.
We’re excited to welcome beloved Humboldt folk/indie bluegrass favorites Huckleberry Flint and local rising musician Luke Powell to the stage as well—rounding out a lineup that promises to be one for the history books! Additionally there have been whispers of top secret surprise appearances the likes of which have never been seen! You do not want to miss this!!!
