The name “Takilma” was found on a road sign that leads to a magical forest location with beautiful rivers in Southern Oregon. Founding members Big Nate and BK decided to go with this as the band’s name and Takilma was born back in 1996. Since then, the band has been rocking the west coast of the United States with its unique blend of classic rock & blues. From local bars to clubs and festival main stages, Takilma always brings some tasty rock jams that keep the people shuffling their feet and asking for more.
