Conserved Lands & Waters of the Lost Coast
Conserved Lands & Waters of the Lost Coast, a 3-part virtual lecture series, will highlight National Conservation Lands, Marine Protected Areas, and Tribal Protected Areas of the Lost Coast. On November 2, retired BLM staffer, Bob Wick, presents National Conservation Lands and The King Range. Bob worked 33 years with BLM and spent half his career directly involved with stewardship of KRNCA, plus leadership roles with NCAs throughout the West. He will share photographs of these spectacular places and explain the differences between various conservation designations and how KRNCA played a unique role in the genesis of BLM’s conservation programs.
