February 17-23 is Engineer’s Week!

On February 21st, the American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE) North Coast Branch will be showing the inspirational documentary Dream Big narrated by Jeff Bridges. All ages are welcome; College and K-12 students are highly encouraged to come be inspired! Fun freebies will be given out!

Doors open at 6:00 pm with a social hour for students of all ages to spark up conversations with practicing and studying engineers. Showing begins at 7:00 pm, and the film is 40 minutes long. Doors close at 8:00 pm

Below is a synopsis of the film: “All around the world, engineers are pushing the limits of ingenuity and innovation in unexpected, imaginative, and amazing ways. Dream Big: Engineering Our World, a giant-screen film about engineering, takes viewers on a journey of discovery from the world’s tallest building to a bridge higher than the clouds. Along the way, the audiences witness how today’s engineers are shaping the world of tomorrow.”
