Drop-in Mindfulness Meditation

Om Shala Yoga

 

Every Monday from 4:00-5:15, join us for mindfulness/vipassana meditation. Classes are for anyone interested in sitting with a group in supported silence. Instructions and guided meditations focus on developing mindful awareness, wisdom and compassion. Anyone of any background is welcome, both experienced and new meditators alike.

 

 

Each class begins with a 20-30 minute talk drawing from both secular and Buddhist perspectives, 35-40 minutes of silent meditation, followed by group discussion. Taught by Heidi Bourne and periodic guest teachers.
