A famous Hollywood “Pre-Code” film, Design for Living is a ménage à trois rom-com with fast-paced dialogue filled with nutty euphemisms and naughty double-entendres. Americans Gary Cooper and Frederic March each take their turns wooing the wonderful Miriam Hopkins in Gay Paris during the Great Depression.
