Arcane Artists presents JAY BIRD in INSENDIO. Come experience a beautiful blend of emotive and melodic electronic music from this uplifting beats driven producer as he makes his Humboldt debut. With a diverse background in music spanning between folk, indie rock, and electronic music, Jay Bird’s work has formed into his own unique, Indie Electronic style. Jay Bird will be joined by high energy dance music artist, ZERA, fresh off his Northern Nights Music Festival play. You will find yourselves on the dance floor through his bold beats, big drops, and flowing melodies. The spunky, EDM open format DJ, FILLIP RALLY will also be heating up the dance floor on this special night and don’t miss a special performance by The Vagabond Dancers. JAY BIRD:

California-based producer, Jay Bird, offers a mix of emotive and melodic electronic music to move both the minds and bodies of listeners. With a diverse background in music spanning between folk, indie rock, and electronic music, Jay Bird’s work has formed into his own unique, Indie Electronic style. After experiencing a Bassnectar festival a few years back, Jay Bird produced his first electronic song the next day and has continued to experiment with fusing his musical influences together. The vision for his project is to make uplifting dance music that holds true to the organic feel of his folk roots. Beyond producing, Jay Bird has taken his music across the Golden State, performing in cities such as San Francisco, San Jose, San Diego, Oakland and more.

ZERA:

ZERA (aka Ezra S. Hollis) is an up and coming, young Producer and DJ, born and raised in the deep heart of Humboldt County, where he has already had the honor of playing big stages, such as Northern Nights Music Festival. His love and passion for music started at the age of three, with his first on the drum kit, progressing onto violin and finally keyboards upon which he still incorporates into his Beat Production. ZERA’s early musical journey has woven through many genres from Hip-Hop and Alternative Rock to starting a love for electronic music at a young age. His musical inspirations have evolved but not strayed to his enthusiasm to mix and produce Electric Dance Music. Behind the mixer, ZERA makes the dance floor go crazy with his choice of many different genres that adept to the dance floor, ranging from Funky future house to Trap and dubstep while mixing in modern Hip-Hop vocals and remixes.

FILLIP RALLY:

Fillip Rally spins an upbeat blend of tropical, tech and bass house. Starting his music production career in high school, Fillip Rally earned a scholarship for composition at the school of music at HSU.  Instead of falling in love with writing sheet music for violinists, he found his passion mixing genres like reggaeton and bass house. Fillip Rally steps on stage with one purpose, to make y’all have some fun and shake your booties, and he’s not afraid to let loose. You can expect to see a performance when he’s on stage through his superior music selection and energetic stage presence, you’re sure to be dancing!

The beautiful Vagabond dancers have been featured at numerous festivals both in person and online, such as Burning Man & Stay at Home Music Festival, Outdoor shows, and indoor venues. Come be captivated as they are sure to keep your attention, mixing styles of hip hop, contemporary, gogo, & more.
