THURSDAY at 8 P.M.

Jeff Kelley

Logger Bar

You may know him as the front man of Vanishing Pints, or playing with The Miracle Show, or Ticket to Ride, or as half the duo, Fred and Wilma. Or maybe you know him from his years playing in the band for Michael Fields’ shows at Dell’Arte and the Logger Bar, or in the band and on stage for the Holiday shows at the Arcata Playhouse. You might even seen him in his own theatrical creation, Origins of Ordinary. Perhaps you know him as the guy at the soundboard at North Country Fair, Redwood Coast Music Festival, and so many other shows around Humboldt.
This will be an evening of Jeff Kelley, singer/songwriter, doing just that, singing songs he wrote. While he will sprinkle in some fabulous covers, mostly you’ll be hearing his own songs. As the fabulous songwriter and producer Dominic Romano put it,
“Jeff is the absolute most fun person I’ve had the pleasure to listen to, play with, record and know. And behind the undeniably winking and smirking bits of linguistic trickery and slight of tongue, the core of Jeff’s songs remain powerful, direct and true to himself, his life, and his world.”
Hanging out at The Logger Bar is in itself a true pleasure. Jeff being there, singing his songs, makes it that much better.
