Humboldt Literacy Project invites families to visit Celebrate Asian American Month with stories, dance, and hands-on fun! Enjoy a dragon dance and parade, embody Zodiac animals, try tai chi moves, explore chopsticks, and hear the tale of the Nian Monster. A playful, cultural journey for kids and families to explore Chinese heritage together.
Kaeshi Chai is a bi-coastal dancer, choreographer, and educator of Chinese heritage. She has performed worldwide and co-founded projects that combine art, culture, and healing.
