Leprechaun (1993)
The film that kicked off the franchise. A delusional man named Dan O’Grady does the unthinkable, he steals a pot of gold while in Ireland and brings it home to the US. Thinking he can now relax and live life with his new found riches, the evil Leprechaun (Warrick Davis) follows him home and wreaks havoc until Dan manages to barely escape with his life, locking the Leprechaun away in his basement yet failing in his attempt to destroy it. 10 years later, JD Reding buys the old O’Grady house and moves in with his spoiled daughter Tory (Jennifer Aniston). Not knowing what lies in the basement, the Leprechaun is accidently released and immediately sets out in search of his stolen gold, killing anyone who gets in his way. Now Tory and her friends must find a way to kill the Leprechaun before he finds them.
