Kicking off the spring season with a BANG! Bringing a high energy Latin feel to the world of progressive house and big room EDM! He takes inspiration from around the globe and creates magic. With conistant chart ranking music, you are sure tk catch a grove with him. We are also bringing a Humboldt favorite, high energy bass influenced tech house act, SPENNY. We also have multiple time, voted Humboldt’s Best DJ, PRESSURE! Mixing in that Latin house vibe with an open format EDM set. A favorite of ours is also returning to the stage. We are pleased to welcome back heavy hitter, big bass sound producer, CHOPSJUNKIE! And a special vocal performance by pop sensation, MAMA MIA!

The Vagabond Dancers will be delivering enticing performances all night inside while Humboldt Fire Dragons, being the heat to the outdoor stage. Light up the night with us as we show our luminescence in this special event .

LEANDRO DA SILVA:
Leandro Da Silva is a prominent figure in the House Music scene, having established himself through his recent accomplishments. Half Italian and half Brazilian, he dedicated countless hours in the DJ Booth and his South Rome studio to perfecting his craft and developing his signature sound.

Leandro is one of the few djs in the world to be included for 6 years in a row among the Top101 Dj Producers list made by 1001tracklists (#11 in 2017, #21 in 2018, #34 in 2019, #9 in 2020, #28 in 2021, #81 in 2022). He has also made the DJMag Top 150 this year for the third time, ranking at #111 in 2022, pm #109 in 2020, and #139 in 2019.

SPeNNY:
SPeNNY is becoming a recognized name in the Tech House world as he has quickly garnished support from artists such as Henry Fong, Luca Lush, Hedegaard, Gudfella, Pickup Lines, Maximo & others.

SPeNNY’S style is unique as he infuses modern Tech House & Techno with the familiar sounds of 80’s/90’s synthwave to produce a high energy danceable beat throughout his sets. Although he differs from other current artists, his influence comes from Eli Brown, Chris Lake, Kaskade, and even Daft Punk.

Since his DJ debut in 2023 he has played at venues and Festivals across California including Northern Nights Music Festival (Piercy, CA), Hotel Ziggy (LA, CA), RampArt (Arcata, CA), Eureka Theatre (Eureka, CA) & others. He has played alongside some industry leaders including Henry Fong and had multiple sold out shows including performances with Hedegaard & JAYCiX.

SPeNNY’S ear and proficiency started long before he began djing as he is a trained musician, playing both the drums & saxophone. He transitioned into producing in High School where he made rap beats before taking up his calling behind the decks. One thing is for sure, any SPeNNY set you get to go to will have a poppin’ dance floor. With releases on the horizon, SPeNNY is a name to watch.

CHOPSJUNKIE:
Hailing from Northern California, ChopsJunkie has been mixing and producing his own brand of bold West Coast Bass for the last 10 years
When he’s not busy leading the Whomp team and lurking in the shadows with Shadowtrix music, Chops has been found playing venues and festivals across the country alongside iconic artists such as NastyNasty, iLL Gates, Liquid Stranger , Charlesthefirst, Shlump, Ethan Glass, and Minnesota; as well as T revor Kelly, SuDs, Dirt Monkey, Amp Live, Big Wild, SubDocta, and Buku. Known for his high energy stage presence and focused on melodic, intense sound design- Chops is a crowd favorite in any setting that always brings the heat.

PRESSURE:
PRESSURE is known for blending the sounds - Connecting the roads between indigenous sounds from Latin America, Africa, to the Caribbean - Grown in Los Angeles, cured in Humboldt County. Pressure’s unique Mexican-American perspective translates the colors and textures of a collective culture Where they meet energetically, spiritually and universally, creating a sound that is beautiful, gritty, and sexy, which is seen on the dance floor.

Always bending genres, Pressure refuses to be put in a box. Drawing upon wide - ranging backgrounds in global culture, his mixes are a high energy fusion of ancient musical traditions with the modern language of hip-hop, dancehall, reggaeton, bass and electronic music. Over the years he’s made warmly received appearances at festivals such as Reggae On The River and Northern Nights. He’s performed with big name artists who include, Talib Kweli, lamsu, Balkan Beat Box, Walshy Fire of Major Lazer, Sage The Gemini, Mozzy, Nef The Pharaoh, Delhi 2 Dublin, Del The Funky Homosapian, The Skatalites, The English Beat, Yellowman, and Anthony B including backing Gift Of Gab, Baby Bash and Andre Nickatina.

LOCATING THE EVENT:
It is located on Gst in Arcata, just south of Redwood Curtain Brewery. Google directions to 700 south G st, Arcata

Getting to the Event:
We recommend ride sharing, and using the drop off zone in the Redwood Curtain parking lot. There will also be limited street parking around the event as well as multiple public lots.

Bathrooms:
There are porta potties near the fire, there is extra toilet paper inside. Please be respectful and do not ruin the extra rolls. VIP bathrooms are located inside below the VIP lounge.
