BELLA ROSE will steal your hearts with her amazing vocal tribute to the late Clare Alder in this femme powered show.

THE PEOPLES DJ!
The girl next door DJ act that throws down the nastiest sets. You don’t want your parents attending because you know they know exactly who she is. Carter Cruise brings the energy into every room she’s in, not only on stage but in the way she interacts with her fans. In 2012 Carter got behind the decks because she wanted to be more than just the life of every party. Carter has successfully made a name for herself as a touring DJ with the likes of Krewella, Adventure Club, Baauer, RL Grime, Borgore, Ookay, and was the DJ for party animal Bert Kreischer’s Fully Loaded comedy tour where he dubbed her an “absolute monster” on the decks. She’s done official remixes for Ghastly, MOONZz, Krewella, and has more on the way. Carter loves mixing your favorite Hip Hop and R&B into high energy house music and trap and has recently ventured into the DnB space. Carter can truly play a set just as diverse as her crowd. She is known for her meet and greets and after parties so she can really connect with all the fans that come from all over to be immersed in her world. The beautiful thing is that when she’s on stage she creates a world for everybody and that’s why she is The Peoples’ DJ.

MARJO LAK:
Brazilian Music Festivals are the roots of DJ Marjo Lak’s career, inspired by the collective celebration that is DANCE. Marjo’s eclectic soundscapes range from Tech-house, Electro Swing, Brazilian Pop, World, Soul, Funk, Dub to disco, and jazz. Since moving to California’s North Coast, Marjo has become well known in the Humboldt Electronic Music scene. Marjo initiated SUMMERTRONICA, the first all-electronic music tent, at the 30+ year Mateel Summer Arts & Music Festival in Benbow, CA and is a member of the long-standing, local (and beloved) DJ collective Deep Groove Society. She and her husband created Fraktal Productions in 2015 to introduce renowned musical artists to eager local audiences. Most recently, Marjo was blessed to share her music and passion for Electronic Music at festivals across the west coast, Brazil and Europe, including Oregon Eclipse Gathering by Symbiosis, Sonica Festival/Italy, Universo Paralello Brazil, Enchanted Forest Gathering, and Northern Nights Music Festival. Through it all, DJ Marjo Lak was able to do what she loves best: spreading her love of Dance Music with new audiences locally and internationally.

ANYA:
DJ Anya is a genre-fluid mixtress, producer, and radio host, filling dance floors with nasty queer and femme-forward vocals layered over dirty house, dubstep, bounce, hip-hop, and global bass. She moves fluidly across dramatic tempo shifts with live mashups, sharp wordplay, and fearless genre swaps that turn familiar hooks into sweat-soaked, booty-shakers.

Rooted in punk and riot grrrrl energy, Anya channels angst, passion, and a revolutionary call for community through sexiness, bass and collective movement, often including impromptu mosh pits. With over 20 years, packing clubs, festivals and sharing stages with Margaret Cho, Balkan Beat Box, The Wailers, Destroy Boys, Diplo, Talib Kweli, and everyone’s hot moms, DJ Anya honors the dance floor as a sacred space creating magical moments of liberation and connection.

D’VINITY:
DJ D’VINITY first spun her way onto the music scene in 2010 and she has been making waves ever since. Her background in music and dance is evident with her electric presence on stage and her love for music spans across ALL genres and has been featured in shows to EDM festivals, such as Northern Nights. DJ D’VINITY has opened the stage for a wide range of artists; Marlon Asher, Mimosa and The Grouch just to name a few. She looks forward to seeing you move on the dance floor!

BELLA ROSE:
Bella Rose is a seasoned and multifaceted creatrix. She’s started pursuing performance art at a young age, and holds a lot of passion for all of her projects. With a Music Degree in Vocal Performance: Jazz Studies, Bella Rose loves to sing and express emotion through sound and improvisation. With a raspy, whimsical, and powerful sound, her goal is to honor the styles of the past while adding a dash of her own flare inspired by the music of today. Trained in ballet, jazz, and musical theatre, she conveys a very energetic and theatrical style of dance. For the past 5 years she has performed as a Go-Go and Burlesque Dancer regularly with multiple companies. She’s had the honor of dancing at multiple venues across California, including the San Francisco Regency Ballroom, The Hollywood Palladium, and Ace of Spades in Sacramento. She’s been booked as an entertainer for the last 3 years at Northern Nights Music Festival. Throughout her career, Miss Rose has starred in countless theatre productions including West Side Story at American River College, and No Exit at North Coast Repertory Theatre. She has also dabbled in Film and can be seen on Netflix in 13 Reasons Why, and in multiple short films. She trains and constantly pursues being the best triple threat she can be.

LOCATING THE EVENT:
It is located on Gst in Arcata, just south of Redwood Curtain Brewery. Google directions to 700 south G st, Arcata

Getting to the Event:
We recommend ride sharing, and using the drop off zone in the Redwood Curtain parking lot. There will also be limited street parking around the event as well as multiple public lots.

Bathrooms:
There are porta potties near the fire, there is extra toilet paper inside. Please be respectful and do not ruin the extra rolls. VIP bathrooms are located inside below the VIP lounge.
