Ocean Night 10th Anniversary

Join us on Thursday, October 3rd for the 10th Anniversary Celebration of our monthly Ocean Night events. We’re pretty thrilled about this milestone and we want to thank our members, our wonderful community, and the Arcata Theatre Lounge for all of your participation and support. We’ll kick off the evening with a short presentation by Jen Savage and Delia Bense-Kang on the history of the Surfrider Foundation and the evolution of Ocean Night, followed by an honoring of our dear friend and avid surfer, Big Wave Dave. Raffle proceeds will be donated to Dave Halgrave’s family. Our feature presentation is a very special screening of the The Art of Evangelism, an inspirational talk by Guy Kawasaki on the art of tech evangelism and the opportunities we all have to “proclaim good news.” As always, we’ll finish off the night with some great surf flicks.
